Promise yourself to make all your friends feel that there is something in them.
We had a very interesting meeting/luncheon this day. We saw some folks we haven't seen in a while and a guest speaker (Lavar Wells) with quite a story.

Lavar said that in November 2011, he had just left a rental facility on State street in his pick-up truck and was going to drive about a mile away. At that moment he didn't fasten his seat belt ... he was only going a few blocks after all. He was going west at 55 mph and a white car was going east at 55 mph. The white car suddenly turned right into him. Lavar was thrown out of his truck. The truck rolled over and landed upright.

Lavar sustained head and other injuries and was for a while in critical condition, he is still undergoing therapy.

The lady (70) told police she was trying to commit suicide. She had lost her husband some four months prior to this accident. She was sentenced to 12 years in prison but is now free.

Lavar is doing great and is a wonderful bowler!

Our weekly pot was at an even $200!Boise Noon Optimist President Scott Muir's ticket was pulled and guess what?

RIGHT!!! Scott drew an ace! He was now $100 richer!! We were all so very happy for him!
