Bulletin for March 25

We sang Happy Birthday to Cindy.
AT THE TWIN DRAGON
President Larry Highley called this meeting/luncheon to order at 12:02 PM. Dyan Graybeal's granddaughter Alexandra led us it the Pledge of Allegiance and Stub Clarkson said the Invocation.

Sunshine Dollars: Dyan because her husband Doug is home for a while and that her granddaughters Kendal and Alexandra from Emmett are visiting. Lisa Peterson because she is on spring break from her teaching at BSU so she could attend this meeting. Cyndi Elliott for the sunshine. Steve Oliver for the good work done at the concession stands during last weekend's soccer tournament. And our waitress Dixie for her granddaughter Kassidy's excellent singing voice. She now is singing solos. Two high schools want Kassidy to attend their schools and to be in their choir.

This is a reminder of the annual Meridian Optimist Club's Casino Night Fundraiser this Saturday March 29 at the Church of the Holy Nativity 828 W Cherry Lane from 5:30 till 11:00pm. We can use all of the help we can get for dealers, servers, ticket sales, etc. If you can help please come out! If not at least come out and play and spend some money to help this worthy cause. Dear Optimists and OYF committee members.
Paul Messersmith

We are rapidly approaching April 15th, the date set for our new member recruiting meeting at the OYSC office, 6:30 pm. We'll be providing sandwiches ands drinks and will be presenting information on the projects and programs we are involved in during the year, looking for more people to help us serve the young people in our community.

More details with printed materials, schedules, new member contest (steak for the winning team...beans for the losers). It will be the Packers vs the Vikings. Stand by for specifics.

The main thing I need from you by the end of March or sooner is your new member prospect list with contact information, address, phone, email) so we can send an invitation.
Denise Sandquist

Please email me, soso6468@gmail.com (Steve Oliver) or Cyndi Elliot, celliot@groupone.com with your prospects.

For OYF committee folks who are not members of the Boise Noon Optimist club, I'd ask you to consider joining and, also providing prospects that you feel have great hearts of service to the young kids in our communities. It is imperative that we grow membership for, not only the BNOC but also the OYF.

So, your mission, if you accept, is to sit down right now and prepare a list of prospects, send them to me or Cyndi. Our goal is to add 40 new people to help us serve and make a difference in young lives. You know how much joy you get from being a part of this group...so, lets go out and share with others.

Thanks for listening.

Steve Oliver, coach of Green Bay Packers membership team.

Steve Oliver
