Meeting and dinner at Casa Mexico Feb 18

President Larry Highley gaveled the meeting to order at 6:323 PM. Rick Peterson led us in the Pledge of Allegiance, and Stub Clarkson said the Invocation.

Sunshine Dollars: Dyan Graybeal's two sons whet to this years Daytona 500. Cyndi Elliot's son had two wins in wrestling matches. Dyan is the Childhood Cancer Chair for the Pacific Northwest Optimist Conference to be held at Yahooz in Meridian on March 8th.

Our speaker this night was Van Tran from Vietnam. She is an occupational therapist. She had quite a story of her life in Vietnam. She was from a family of 12, and she contacted polio at the age of six months, and had no medical help for the next 10 years. Finally doctors from Germany came and helped. Her father finally helped to get the family to America.

She and her sister now run an orphanage in central Vietnam serving some 4,000 children.
